About the Company

STÅLBOLAGET is a privately owned recycling company, owned by Lantz Järn och Metall, located in Osby. Our suppliers consist of independent power companies, industries, and railway companies. Our catchment area is the entire country, and all materials are delivered to Osby for classification, sorting, and transshipment. Stålbolaget is both quality and environmental certified according to SS ISO 9001-14001. We currently have six permanent employees and an annual turnover of approximately 65 million.

Your Responsibilities

To strengthen our team, we are now looking for a committed and responsible driver for our operations in Osby. In this recruitment, we are collaborating with Wikan Personal.

As a driver with us, you will primarily work with driving a swap body truck and all that it entails. The driving takes place in southern Sweden, which means you will return home every day, but working hours may vary from day to day. There is also some crane driving involved in the job as you pick up and deliver scrap metal, cables, etc., to and from our customers and suppliers, who are often recurring. You will have customer contact and be responsible for your routes together with our transport planner.

Your Background/Your Qualities

We are looking for someone with a CE driver's license, Professional Competence Certificate (YKB), and a digital driver's card. Experience driving a swap body truck is a requirement. It is a significant plus if you have also driven a crane; if not, we will assist with training. As a person, you are engaged, flexible, and used to taking responsibility for both yourself and the truck. Previous experience in the recycling industry is a plus. You are social and can easily express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

The position is full-time and is a permanent employment at Stålbolaget with placement after agreement. The position is based in Osby, where we prefer you to have a reasonable commuting distance of a maximum of 45 minutes. The last application date is April 8.
